Our club is home to 30-40 enthusiastic dancers who enjoy meeting new people, dancing the night away, celebrating fun theme nights, and sharing the joy of Square Dancing. Come join the fun and experience the excitement with us!

Mainstream
Throughout the night at Shamrock Square Dance Club we will dance Mainstream. This is all the moves you have been taught from the Beginner Classes.

We love to keep it fun! We have a calendar of Theme nights during the year! We want to make sure its not all about dancing its about creating Friendships that will last a lifetime!
Let me Introduce myself....
James Harragon here! I have a loving wife Kirsty Harragon and 2 beautiful, growing kids Belle & Hudson. Full time working Dad with Woolworths coming on 18 years.
I have been Square Dancing (SD) since I was 6. I got into SD through my family as they all done it throughout their early years and that's where my parents met back in the day.
I started off with competition SD in Sydney. After competition SD come to an end I finished up (2002) then in my late 20's I got back into it.
I have been a caller now for 18 months (Nearly 12 months with my own club).
I have called at a NSW State Convention.
We have been operating our club now for coming up to 12 months in September 2025 up Maitland (my home town).
To anyone who wants to give it a go, come and try it before you judge it. It can be very good for the mind & body.
